A Desk-based Assessment of land northwest of Cotgrave, Nottinghamshire, was undertaken prior to the proposed construction of a solar farm. A potential for the survival of archaeological remains was identified and as a result a geophysical survey was carried out. The results of both studies helped to inform subsequent targeted mitigation.
